When
America is attacked, the offending party attacks the world!
What
is the fascination? What is the magnet that attracts?
AMERICA—FOREVER!
No
other nation can boast what America has accomplished, and it has done so in such
a short space of time, even its detractors are impressed! After all, America as
we now know it, has only been around for a couple of hundred years or so.
What
is it about this brave, robust, cocky and inquisitive species that defies logic,
transcends every barrier placed before it, and makes the whole world envy it,
want to destroy it, even hate it at times!
America’s
progress engulfs science, medicine, the arts, and technology of all
descriptions, rocket science and nuclear power, just to name a few!
Sports,
music and movies are worldwide favorites; even those who criticize us, admire
all we have to offer.
The
masters of our commerce have created monster enterprises with logos and
trademarks familiar to the multimillion masses worldwide creating a spate
of products and merchandise that the world audience craves, desires and
uses each and every day!
hate us; still they seek us when in turmoil and need! America!
They
abhor our way of living, yet they want to live as we do, as Americans!
They
fear our power, yet they ask for it when they are oppressed and terrorized.
America
Most
of the world has access to our customs and way of life and once exposed, are
completely enthralled by what they see and hear and want to emulate or join us.
Which
invites the question, why do some harbor such hatred for the American way?
They
ican
good will to the rescue!
They
do not understand us they say.
Why
do we have to have so much to keep us happy?
Yet
they crave the same things!
They
don’t understand!
Crazy
Americans they say! --- Crazy?
They
can’t understand what we are all about, although they cross our borders
illegally every day of the week north, east, south and west.
The
uncertified Americans!
At
last count there are over 10,000,000 illegal immigrants within our borders and
still growing, enough to populate a good sized country!
Notwithstanding
the countless millions we have invited to our shores over time!
We
are the nation of immigrants plain and simple.
That
is the magic ingredient that galvanizes our masses and makes us- one!
We
are the richest nation in the world, not only monetarily but also in every other
category known to mankind.
We
have accomplished more, given more, yet received less from all the nations of
the earth combined.
Still,
there are those who invite our destruction.
WE
even rehabilitate and nurture our vanquished enemies!
What
other culture in the worlds history has accomplished any thing resembling that
act of generosity and forgiveness?
Why
this paradox, why this double standard, why the hypocrisy?
In
my own humble analysis it boils down to one perfect answer-
WE
ARE AMERICANS, a breed apart!
From
the early days of our history, as Americans crossed the great divide to open our
western frontiers, a hybrid brand of people were emerging, and magnificent they
were.
They
needed not the approval of kings or magistrates, they asked no quarter and gave
none in return. They were the early American pioneers who undaunted, crossed the
great open plains of America.Our
personal baptism of fire! That, which is not destroyed, strengthens itself!
America
survived!
We
are the envy of all nations and as far as one can ascertain, we will continue to be
On
horseback, driving wagons, yea even walking across that great expanse between
east and west, creating this vast democracy known as America!
In
one of our darkest hours, we warred with one another!
The death toll and the maimed and injured numbering in hundreds of
thousands, yet to be matched by all our other wars combined.
Yet
through all the pain and suffering emerged a stronger more dedicated union than
anyone could have imagined.
Let
there be no mistake, let there be no misunderstanding, let there be no delusions
as to where and how we will defend our beloved country.
To
those who wish us well, we accept your kindness!
To
those who wish us ill, we will not cower nor be faint in defense of this blessed
country.
The
bones of American patriots are interred on all the continents of the world,
while defending not only our rights but also the rights of people foreign to us.
America
is global!
By
virtue of those lives lost in defending freedoms everywhere we are obliged to
remain strong and vigilante, no matter the compass point!
America
was born of conflict and grew in stature through the gravest of times, tempered
as steel, and resolute to defend her borders and ideals, whenever or wherever it
may take us!
Through
time immemorial, stories are written as to conquests of nations and the
ever-changing landscape of cultures and ideals, but never has a story been
written as glorious and impelling as that of the improbable history of America!
A
divergent blending of ideas and ideals including an anomaly of nationalities,
forming a union so strong that it will never be torn asunder!
Do
we have our warts and blemishes, to say not would be disingenuous, however even
with all the innocuous blemishes, we flourish as never before.
We
are America.
We
are America –FOREVER!
